Goals

Our goal is simple: provide an outstanding Cub Scout program while keeping participation as affordable as possible for every family. The money our pack raises each year helps pay for awards, activities, program supplies, equipment, pack T-shirts, and many of the other expenses that make our adventures possible. By fundraising together, we can keep annual dues low while continuing to offer a high-quality program throughout the year.

We also believe fundraising should be a pack effort rather than an individual burden. Instead of expecting each Scout to earn money for only their own activities, our families work together toward shared goals that benefit the entire pack. When everyone contributes, every Scout enjoys the rewards of a well-equipped, active, and fun Cub Scout program.

Annual Popcorn Fundraiser

Each fall, our pack participates in the annual popcorn fundraiser, which is our primary fundraising event of the year. Most of our sales take place at local storefronts, where Scouts greet members of the community and offer popcorn for purchase. We only ask each Scout family to sign up for one single two-hour storefront shift during the season!

Don’t worry if you’ve never done it before—we’ll make it easy. We provide the popcorn, sales software, payment processing, training, and everything needed to run a successful storefront. All your Scout needs to do is show up in their Class A uniform with a positive attitude and a willingness to greet customers. It’s a fun way for Scouts to practice communication and confidence while helping support the adventures they’ll enjoy throughout the year.
