Cub Scouts is a family-centered program for girls and boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade that helps youth build character, confidence, friendships, and life skills through fun, hands-on adventures. Every pack is led by caring parent volunteers who are registered with Scouting America, complete required training, and work together to provide a safe, welcoming environment for every family.
Pack 253 is committed to delivering a high-quality Cub Scout experience through thoughtful planning, active programming, strong community partnerships, and dedicated volunteers who care deeply about every Scout and family. We have strong relationships with our host school and community from our service projects, tours, and guests.
Most months include:
One meeting of all ages where we celebrate our achievements, learn a new skill, and have fun
One or two grade-level meetings focusing on age-level adventures
One weekend family adventure like hiking or a local service project
Pack 253 offers a full calendar of opportunities rather than a long list of obligations. Families are encouraged to participate as often as they can, knowing that every hike, campout, service project, and meeting adds something special to their Scout’s experience.

Scouting is one of the most affordable youth programs available. National registration fees are $85/year. Pack 253 has no annual pack dues, and one fall fundraiser helps support our program. Learn more about registration, uniforms, and financial assistance on our Costs & Uniforms page.
Our regular meetings are Mondays from 6:30–7:30pm at Stoner Creek Elementary. Check our Calendar Page for the latest dates and times.
The best way to learn about Pack 253 is to visit a meeting. Come meet our leaders, see the program in action, and ask questions—no uniform or Scouting experience required. If you decide Pack 253 is the right fit for your family, we’ll guide you through the registration process. You’re welcome to visit any pack or den meeting on our calendar, or contact us if you’d like to learn more before attending.
